Supply string administration is the technology of developing the physical production environment with logistics to ensure satisfactory, consistent and timely supply of raw materials, done goods and services to fulfill the demands of customers. Supply chain devices are built surrounding the decisions of producers and distributors of goods. A source system is referred to as a sequence of operations that ensures that merchandise are produced from the point of origins to the point of use. It includes all the levels of the source process – from sourcing, production, transportation and safe-keeping.

There are four levels of the supply chain: finding, manufacturing, shipping and storage space. In source chain, merchandise are obtained from suppliers and converted into finished products. The moment sourcing, it is the first level of the supply process where suppliers accumulate all the necessary information about the buyers and the suppliers they want to handle. After sourcing, manufacturers develop and transfer the goods, even though distributors store the products and deliver them to the end users.

Every stage inside the supply string has its own specific functions and roles. The processing stage is an essential part of the program where suppliers make and produce goods to be furnished to marketers. Good producers are those who take care of the quality standards of the items they make. On the other hand, marketers are individuals who will take delivery of the products to the end users. And lastly, safe-keeping and syndication are the leftover parts of the supply system where manufacturers and distributors to store the goods to get end-users and ensure they are in good condition once they will be received.
